M&P 15 22 "Compliant"

Hi All, Im looking for a M&P 15 22 "Compliant" rifle. What exactly makes it Compliant. Is it only 1. Fixed Stock, 2. Non-threaded barrel and 3. 10 rds?

Unfortunately, I am looking at gunbroker since it seems difficult to purchase one locally. Im curious at what I cant have on most listed on gunbroker.

It just means it's California compliant, i.e. compliant with the rules for AR-15s in Cali.

Any 15-22 is legal in Maryland, they can't ship the standard 25 round mags. I got a magpul model in PA, they just gave my dad (non MD resident) the 25 round mag. Ones you find in MD will have a 10 round mag.

So I could therotically order any from gunbroker as long as they didn't send s 25 rd magazine?

you can keep 25 round mag in md you just cant buy,sell,or transfer in md

You can do that! Or if you can buy it outside of MD locally like PA/VA.

That can be tricky. A lot of dealers out of state don't know MD
Law very well and don't want to risk it. But the could ship to a
MD FFL without the 25 round mag. Good luck trying to find
any mag now. I would call around to dealers across VA or PA
and see what they have.
