    Here is something that you do not get to see very often. Wartime LC headstamp with pretty good painted tips remaining. The projectile is some sort of aluminum or pot metal that will print a dust cloud during AA training. IMG_0027 (2).JPG

    Ill probably have to get some one to spot so I can see it. Its supposed to dust off an aluminum aircraft body so it must be pretty soft. I got a pretty good handful of it and will probably save about a dozen with the best tips. I can hook you up with a few to go with your MG but I would save them for display.

    Thanks for the links. I had read about the ammo years ago but never seen it anywhere else. I can tell that there is only about 50% case capacity and I may pull one to check it out and see how easy it is to crush. It came out of an ammo can an older gentleman gave me. I didn't find it until I sorted it and found these on the bottom. There's about 60 of them I guess.
