Not necessarily in terms of recoil, but the firearm I’ve shot that has the most deleterious health effects would be the 84mm Carl Gustov. You can mitigate the shockwave and concussion somewhat by yelling “GOOSE!” as you send it, but even that only does so much for you.
The worst recoiling weapon I personally own is probably a 45-70 that I occasionally use to blow up computer printers and other things with Buffalo Bore ammo. The trick is to do it at the beginning of your range session so everything else seems light recouping by comparison.
