Beautiful pup. Wish we had room but we have two pups now. I can add that we adopted from MAGSR last year and only have good things to say about them. If you are able to place the dog with them - Please post it here and I will donate towards his care.

I’ll take him if still available.

That's a good call; that dog has a lot of potential.

I've seriously contemplated it but I'm in CA and the logistics are not cheap nor simple. I had one that passed in July and the characteristics of this one and mine are the same. You can't ask for a more loyal K-9 and they want to learn; working dog. They can smell way better than a human; pick up on what's coming downwind way before you see it.

Dead friend of mine from ID used to train GSD and this one has some of the traits he looked for.

    Hope it works out.

    Nice! So you have him?

I quoted his post to joke that photo evidence was required.... but there are image links that showed up in the quote. It seems he posted pics that are not appearing.

They load if I click on them, but they are large and slow. I removed the IMG tags in this quote so you can click to view.

So is your new son going to get you a new pair of walking shoes for Christmas? I suspect he'll help you wear your old ones out. Dogs are great!

I'd hope so, I remember when our shepherd was that age, endless energy required a LOT of walking! They're so intelligent too, try not to get outwitted!
