    I recently got a 7.62x39 ar and need to get mags for it. Any recomendation on what mags work best as I know they sometimes have issues. Is it possible to use a 5.56 mag and replace the follower and spring to except 7.62x39? Any help would be appreciated

    I am running ASC mags in mine with no issues yet, though it hasn't had a lot of rounds through it yet...

    What brand rifle are you running OP? Been considering building a 7.62x39 pistol

    I have a couple of the ASC mags and they have been about 95% reliable. I have two of the C Products Defense 28 round mags. 100% reliable. Not to be confused with the older and no longer manufactured I believe they were called "C Products".
