Hey, when you come from a place where you can assume that most law abiding people telling you that they’re armed are known to be bluffing because the government has disarmed only those people ... no wonder he didn’t take the warning seriously.

Kind of disappointing that he survived... would suck to be the family/victims and worry that he could get out in no time and/or in a cpl years and come back and seek revenge. Wtf do you do in that situation? Move? Spend life worrying about him?

I know a 22 can kill, just wish she had a 12 gauge in her hands instead.

yeah potentially not a good situation. of course, even if the criminal dies, who knows what family and friends will do to avenge the poor guy's death... i know some on here would love the opportunity to blast someone, but personally i hope i never have to come close to using self defense, but i certainly won't hesitate if the need comes.

I commend her for having a lowly 22. Sure beats nothing and maybe that's what she was most comfortable with. She stopped the threat. Also glad she doesn't have to live with the aftermath of taking someone's life. Win win.

Glad she at least had a .22

We move stateside, and I've already decided I'll try to get the wife a .380 Shield EZ, if she likes it after trying it. Or she'll work up to it, after getting a .22.

Not sure she'll handle any form of recoil well.
