Victor Frankenstein Movie pistol

I was watching the movie Victor Frankenstein (2015) this evening. I noticed the pistol that the police inspector had. I am fairly good with modern firearms but I did not recognize this one. Any of you experts tell me what it is?

This looks like about a 70-80 caliber revolver to me.
