FSB for SBR?

    I'm thinking of building my first NFA SBR.

    I'm old school and love the look of the FSB on a rifle.

    For a FSB to be installed on a SBR does that have be done on a pre banned lower or can I install the FSB post ban lower? Or am I out of luck?

    FSB= front sight block? Or something else?

    I'm a little confused by the question. Barrel profile does not matter for SBRs, so pre or post lower doesn't matter. You can put a FSB on pretty much any barrel profile anyway.

    Thanks guys. For some reason I thought you couldn't have a front sight with a bayonet lug anymore after the ban.

    Nope. Evil features are grenade launchers, folding stocks, flash hiders. That's it.

    Bayonet lug ban was the 94 Federal Ban, which went away under sunset rules over 10 years ago.
