    another match at peacemaker this saturday 25th. same concept, run around, shooting stuff. in this case, falling steel, lots of it. i'm doing the afternoon match if any newbies would like to be shown the ropes.

    Gotta say to anyone who's on the edge about this: go. Competitive shooting was a completely life-changing experience for me, at least as much as stepping up my training regimen. And it's really not that expensive to do at the club level... maybe thirty or forty bucks a match, less if you reload. You don't need that much in the way of gear, either... good holster, good belt, good mag pouches, reliable gun and some mags.

    You'll learn more in one competition than you will in a month of range practice, IMHO.
