    Tikka T3x in 223 Rem. It's actually the compact model with the 20" 1 in 8 twist barrel. I put a spacer in it for a 13 1/5 LOP (the rifle comes with one). Took it to the range today and it shot rather well. I shot Hornady 75 grain steel match (match ammo with a steel case?), and 55 grain American Eagle. The Hornady shot pretty much 1 inch groups and less at 100 yards (some outliers). The American Eagle was not so good; all over the place in the 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 inch range. It was windy and the target frame was flapping front to back. Pics below are all 4 shot groups. The scope I am using is a Bushnell Trophy XLT 3X9 that I had laying around, an OK scope but a great scope. Used TK Defense as my FFL for the transfer from Grab A Gun.

    I am very happy with all aspects of the purchase. :D

    Not surprising, 55gr FMJ isn't exactly a precision round.

    69gr and 75gr should be winners in that configuration.

    Great Grouping for the ammo with that gun and optic. I want one myself, but the cost of aftermarket stuff for what I want to do is just too much. I also just do not have place for one right now. Though I do look forward to have Modern Centerfire Bolt gun at some point.
