    How will it behave in cross winds? I remember seeing a video that said some bridges act up in cross winds.

    That occurs when the road deck isn't engineered properly to account to wind. As such it will wobble or whip up and down, until the metal fatigues enough to break. Think of a paperclip you bend a bunch of times, then it snaps.

    While it's an interesting bridge design, and would likely benefit all Marylanders, I and my brothers at DoubleMint Local 77 will oppose this project (violently, if necessary) due to the lack of chewing-gum-industry carve-outs. We have the full backing and support of the National Bailing Wire Association, who are similarly disenfranchised.
