Maybe one of these days we'll get Blaster to create an Imgur account.

Yeah this brace isn't ideal! But I plan to keep it locked and loaded in my car, and afaik you can't do that with a rifle

Um, you're in Maryland. You can't transport a handgun on just a whim, you have to be going to and from a range or some nonsense. You can do that with a rifle, though.

Man you treat your rifles well. Letting them sleep on quilted goose down blankets.

I wrap my up in greasy old REO Speedwagon concert shirts that I didn’t have the heart to throw away.

I hear you. I thought I was being extra careful when I lined one of my foam cases with a trash bag.

Finished building my corona AR pistol today and want to show it to people.
It's isn't too interesting like some of the other crazy stuff I've seen on here but it's my first AR build, except the upper was assembled.

I think I kept it all MD/federally legal but someone please chime in if I went over/under on lengths...

28 5/16” brace collapsed to end of not permanently attached muzzle device
27 1/8” brace collapsed to end of barrel
30 15/16” brace extended to end of not permanently attached muzzle device
29 3/4” brace extended to end of barrel
28 1/4” end of buffer tube to end of not permanently attached muzzle device
27” end of buffer tube to end of barrel

Nice build! Any idea of weight, with or without ammo??

As long as you have a Md concealed carry permit, you can.

By the way, In Md, SBRs are considered pistols.

Thanks - I was not 100% on SBRs vehicle transport and storage in MD off the top of my head. But I would not use an SBR as a "truck gun" anyways. Too worried about it being stolen. That's just me.

Nice build! How is the recoil impulse on the 12.5? I have a 10.5 with a blast can that can be a bit snappy.
