Mangey fox - my dog ripped one up this past spring. He had to be treated for mange after he had his fun. Vet said it was fairly common with the fox population we have in N Baltimore county.

I have one that looks like that around the farm, It looks mangy but doesnt exhibit and symptoms of being sick or rabid, its just mangy. I see him pretty much every evening, if he starts to act strange, I'll have to take care of him. In contrast there are 2 very good looking foxes running around the farm a well.

    Mangebag fox.

BTW if you see a thylacine standing around in Sykesville, it's just a realistic replica made by the Carnefex lady who lives there LOL.

You could put out chicken necks laced with the wormer ivermectin and cure their mange and help avoid the transfer of mange to your pets.

Had this same thing a few years back in my back yard. Called the county and they said not their problem unless its rabid. I told them im sure someone would handle it if they don't.... haven't seen it since about 2 weeks after....

This is why God made suppressors. Of course, I would never have dispatched any critter with mine. :innocent0
