Youngest son likes it for a drinking spot. Last time we were there the wife got spoiled shrimp in her dish. Response was "sorry that happened." Tasted strongly of ammonia. No chance we were going back soon.

A lot of restaurants do that. Grocery stores too.

That sounds like damn yummy stuff.
It is. The affore mentioned Honey Bee in Glen Burnie does that too....

Their Meaty-Cheesy omelet is my favorite....ham, bacon, sausage, and three cheese blend. Add in the homemade home fries with onions, and toast. Oh yeah.....don't forget the side of scrapple.

When you get done at Scott's, head one block up Quarterfield to Roy's Kwik Korner.. crab cakes, soup, cheesesteaks, just order something, it will be good.

Isn't Facebook the place for pictures of food?

This isn't what you are looking for, but I had taken a pic to send to my wife anyway...might as well get some more mileage out of it. It's an example what we call our "beige food" (i.e. all shades of yellow or brown. Nothing red, and definitely no greens). Homemade mac & cheese, homemade cheesy potatos, rice, corn, ground venison...and a little more cheese, all mushed together.:D

Ha!!! Inadvertently was signed in as Scott's Gunsmithing earlier rather than under my own sign on.

    Repost under my own ID:

No pics (yet!!!)...But I'm partial to Honey Bee in Glen Burnie for Breakfast (can't beat the m-f, 7 am - 11 am special - $6.50 for eggs, meat, home fries and coffee! there are some other choices on the special as well).

Mi Pueblo in Glen Burnie for Mexican. Try their fresh guacamole made at your table. Most food is very good to great and wait staff is usually excellent.

Chick N Ruth's in Annapolis for Sandwich fare....or even for an excellent crab cake.

The Los Aztecas thread was so much fun let's make it more general. As you may have heard me whine, I am on a diet and only get to eat good food once a week. So that once a week I really want some GOOD food. Give me some ideas where and what to eat in the Central Maryland area (Howard, Carroll, Frederick or not too stupid far from those places).

My last Saturday dinner cheat meal was at Mount Airy Inn. They serve breakfast all day, and even though it was like 6PM, I was in the food for some breakfast. I rampaged on "G's Perfect Breakfast" with a side of scrapple. Everything was delicious although the scrapple was a little too well done.

When pic was taken I had already eaten one of the eggs and nibbled on other stuff. Mount Airy Inn is awesome, thumbs up

You wouldn't happen to know if this restaurant is wheelchair accessible would you?

Yes, there is a sloped wheel chair ramp in front of the building (the building is shared with Dunkin' Donuts) and once you roll up the wheelchair ramp, anywhere you need to go from there is at grade (i.e. no steps). There is an upstairs to Mount Airy Inn but obviously they would seat folks in wheelchairs downstairs. There are two doors you need to go through to get inside so ideally someone will hold the door open.

I have zero clue about where you are asking. I will say depending on the dish, Glen Burnie area has some GREAT food.

Wife and I will occasionally go to Dutch country restaurant on saturdays for breakfast. It's in Hanover,pa. I love their breakfast.

I've been there several times. Love that place.

My favorite hangout lately is Oscar's Alehouse in Eldersburg. Excellent bar with friendly staff. Really good food.

I am always confused about how 1 breakfast is any better than from somewhere else? Eggs are eggs and you can ask them to be made any style you want and add anything to an omelette. Scrapple can be cooked as crispy as you like it, same with bacon. It's not like a cream of crab soup recipe, etc... that can differ.
I have never sent a fried egg back because it tasted bad.

Johnny's and Cookies Kitchen in Pasadena for breakfast. Also love Honey Bee in GB. The Breakfast Shoppe in Severna Park for gourmet breakfast, it aint cheap but it is delicious!
Maria D's in Glen Burnie for best Gyro I ever had.
Simple Sands on Ritchie Hwy between Severna Park and Pasadena for best Cuban Sandwich north of Miami.
Bella Napoli in Pasadena for awesome cream of crab and all their pasta dishes are homemade and delicious!
....and yes, good'ol Sunset in GB might just have the best cream of crab around.
Jersey Mikes in Columbia for one of best Cheesesteaks I ever ate.

It's a function of quality ingredients and good short order cooks. I've been to plenty of places with mediocre or worse "bacon and eggs"-style breakfasts. Reminds me of the old joke about how some people can screw up having to boil water.

We got Jersey Mike's the other day. It's good enough. Maria D's cheesesteak is awesome.
Severna Park Taphouse for all around great food. Wings, chili and their burgers are one of the best around.
The Office is doing GREAT food now.
So many good places around here.
All of the above plus Willy's restaurant, Capri pizza and Romano's does a great pizza and fantastic Greek salad. Bahama Mike's, and the list keep going.
I can list probably 1 good thing about every restaurant in the area.
