You got a Uberti Walker colt 44 too huh? Mine has a 2 character SN and the first character is a letter! :) There IS a story behind it, pretty cool!

Love my Walker, about as much fun as you can have with your clothes on.

Nope, I REALLY want a .44 in same. I have "visions' of winning one next weekend! :D

I was looking for a 44, but then started looking for a Puma in 454casull, you can shoot 45 colt or full power casull loads out of it, not much bigger than my rifle in 357, which has proven to be a decent little rifle with good wood and metal, and is basically a winchester clone for a lot less money. Hopefully I can find one when I have the loot for it.

I want the .44 because I also hunt with a .44 pistol. One cartridge that is a TRUE deer round within limits is really appealing to me. I doubt I'll ever fire a Casull let alone own one.

Patience Grasshopper... Two out of my three were bought on "can't pass up" deals. When money gets tight, people tend to discard these kind of quickly.

Yeah, thought I was the only one scooping them up. Bought a brand new Henry Golden Boy .45LC and a brand new Marlin 1894 44mag. $600 for both.

Counts in my book. Let me guess, it's never been fired either?

How did you guess??? I know, I know, I had more money than brains, "that's my story and I'm sticking to it"
But seriously I would buy 2 of some things, One to shoot and one to keep boxed up, I don't know. But you know guns back then were no where what they cost today. I will admit to all that I have been out of shooting for long long time. What got me started I used to "lurk" here, reading, etc. I have been trying to get "vouched" for Issac Walton in Mt. Airy, looking at range more than 100-yards but to become a member also, i will be showing up at Creasap to become a member, I don't mind the working part. But anyway yes I'm taking inventory, pictures, to find out what exactly I have scattered here and there, and one thing for sure I noticed I have a lot of them never fired. Yes I'm surprised at what I'm finding.

E.Shell made a comment about some of us have been doing this for a long time, I can second that.

    Really,the shed?

They are some really really nice lever actions, and you do have a nice collection, they are all in great shaped. To be honest also I wanted a Marlin at one time, always said I would buy one but never did, wish I would have. A friend has one in .444 and love it. would reload for him.
I'm fond of the 94's father has one, bought it at Sears & Roebuck Long Long time ago.. yeah it's fired :), he used to shoot ground hogs with it from the bedroom window. man the guns that I have walked away from. I wish, I wish..

Yeah, the paint, the snow shovel, the propane tank...

Alright...but it adds to the picture ... mine I tried to keep my big feet and the cats from climbing on them.

But just got to ask .... time for me to turn it around

" have they ever been fired?" sorry just had to do it.... you know how it is.

The 39 and 1894, yes. The 336 I bought on gunbroker as "new, no box". I have ammo for it but have never fired it. The 39 goes to the range with me every time and will outshoot my 10/22 all day.

Yeah, the 10/22 I've shot was all over the place, could be me too much coffee. The 39 you have looks great. Come on though you need some never been fired before. only kidding..

You reload for any of your guns?
I've got plenty of .44 mag 180jhp, 240jhp, and some lead 200 SWC

I've been checking out gunbroker I'm looking for a I think it's a military model 52 winchester target .22lr a newer one, think B or C not sure, I used to shot one when I was in my teens a long time ago at the armory here in frederick. i loved it. Man everyone here is giving me the gun bug again... and that isn't good.

Sorry I don't have any single photos of my one lever gun. The pump .22 next to it might go in this catgory also? The lever gun is a new Marlin 39A and the pump is an OLD Winnie model 06. The rest are my other .22's
