News Alert: Stabbing Suspect In Custody, Please Share
On Friday, April 27th, 2018 at approximately 8:30 AM Cecil County Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to 17 Pinder Avenue, Elkton, MD for an assault with a knife. Upon arriving at that location Deputies found a 36 year old white male victim suffering from stab wounds. The victim is not being identified at this time as this is an ongoing investigation. Deputies quickly learned that the suspect, a 36 year old white male, Darryl Thomas Slate, of Maloney Road, Elkton had been involved in an altercation in the area of 17 Pinder Avenue, stabbing the victim. Slate then fled Pinder Avenue in a Ford F-150. Cecil County Sheriff’s Office Deputies working in partnership with the Maryland State Apprehension Team, quickly developed information that placed the suspect, Mr. Slate in the area of Frenchtown Road and Augustine Herman Highway. An intensive search was then conducted of the area including the use of the Cecil County Sheriff’s Office Unmanned Aerial System. Deputies were assisted by the Maryland State Police and the Elkton Police Department.
At approximately, 1:30 PM Slate was taken into custody in the 700 Block of Frenchtown Road. Slate is facing numerous charges related to the assault. The stabbing victim was transported by ambulance to Christiana Hospital. #CecilSheriff #SayNotoKnives
Not sure if my wife even knows but this scum bag had to go thru our yard . If she was just coming home or leaving this could of been ugly
