Food Shortages

Before the Election Infection hit I had an inkling that there might be a run on the stores. For several months before it hit I stocked up my pantry, freezers, etc. itís food I normally use so Iíve been working it down.

After speaking to several forum members it seems like others feel it might get rocky again between November and January, if not longer.

What say you?

I'm gonna try to shoot an extra deer or two. We still have too much crap on the shelves from March.

Not super worried, we prepared with a rotating pantry, so we could hold out for a bit.

I normally shop at Aldis. Their store brand ketchup and mayo is as close to Heinz and Hellmanís as Iíve found for 1/3 of the price.

We have always kept a stockpile of can goods and things we could cycle through. The food shortages pushed us into raising a few cows though and we now have way more chickens then we had. I suspect ot may get bad again.

I mean, some items were missing from the grocery store at the beginning of the pandemic, but there wasn't an overall lack of food.

You may just have to live without your "preferred" foods for a bit.

I remember going and seeing the proteins (chicken/fish/meat) shelves empty. Prices skyrocketed and amounts were limited as well.
