    OK.

I'm no AR expert. I own a few AR rifles and own 2 lowers transferred as "O" back in the day.

Kicking around the idea of 5.56 10.5" barrel pistol.

I like FSB on rifles and figured why not on pistol.

I'd like to hear from experienced AR pistol folks. Are there pros and cons or just a matter of personal likes?

    Thanks.

Well, if you go free float hand guard, just mount back up sights to it. They are never in the way of the main optic, and your also have the advantage of a free float guard. Other than looks and simplicity, I dont see any reason.

I have both, it depends on your preferred sight. Are you planning to use a red dot? If so then no fsb. Prefer open sights then a fsb is the way to go.
