I can't remember if it was my 10/22 deluxe sporter, or my pair of Henry lever actions. The American Beauty and the Farmer edition. It's been a minute.

Submitted a 'Take A Shot' offer on a Sako Finnfire II on GB last night and figured it would be a day or two for the seller to get back to me but, already got the notification this morning that my offer had been accepted. That's the first time I tried the 'Take A Shot' offer on GB. Nice. Saved about $60 doing that.

Marlin 795. Saw I could pick it up well under $100 a few years back.
Added tech sights, sling and a few extra magazines.
    It's a fun little rifle.
    Thinking about ordering a TCR22.

Winchester 75 and Marlin 57M same day last week.

For me, a really nice 1943(-ish) Winchester 75T (military trainer) about a year ago....

1932-vintage Springfield M2, concurrently with a 1929-vintage Remington 12C. It was a good day. The week before that was a 1935-vintage Winchester M52 Pre-A. Been on a roll.

Out of a couple dozen .22's I only own one newer than WWII, a BRNO No.2. Never owned a 10/22, probably never will.

    I like your style :)
The 75T feels like a loose, sloppy toy next to my Model 52 pre-A.

Look forward to shooting this. Hope you get a suitable scope.

Was considering a discontinued Leica that I saw for about $350 under MSRP but went with a Leupold VX-2 (4-12x40) and Sako Optilock rings and bases instead.

I'm looking forward to doing a side-by-side comparison with your Tikka! :D

I guess that's acceptable, lol. That's a hard scope to find these days. Yes, a comparison will be fun.

I have bought a gorgeous Savage FVSR and gave it a new Boyds stock for it to live in.... but with my big hands, the ridiculously short bolt throw of the 22 just made me hate it. I ended up trading it for a Thompson TCR22, which for those that dont know is a clone of the Ruger 10/22, but with a pile up upgrades built in. I ended up with a Magpul stock on it and and still waiting to sight int he old Redfield 4x scope thats sitting on it. I need to do it soon, we have a pesky and WEIRD acting fox that isn't scared of the dog that stands there and yell at it...

I am pretty sure we shot 52 in college on the rifle team. We had Army ROTC on campus with a 50 foot small bore range on the lower level.

They had those and 2 Anschutz for the top shooters.

I should look for one for old times sake.
