    Anyone do this kind of thing? The bottom of my door is rotting.

    Could probably find enough other issues to make a full day's job, or more.

    About 20+ years ago my entry door bottom wooden part fell out, metal cladding. I took the door off, put up some plywood over the door opening, in February, and then fashioned a new bottom wooden part out of a 2x4, added on the sweeper. Put the door back on and all was well. Door guys wanted to charge $2000 per door.
