Nobody should be surprised about this. I posted about this many months ago and even last year. This will be coming to MD and there is strong support for this within the Dem party that control the MD House and Senate. If Hogan vetoes they will override his veto.

Absolutely. I know they’ll have insane twisted logic about ways to close more “loop holes” They create by having this law.
Most mass shooters get their weapons from a parent or purchased them legally. This wouldn’t stop that. Most people using guns in a murder likely either acquired the guns and ammo legally, or acquired both illegally. What do you think the odds are most street corner gun sellers aren’t also selling said gun with a few rounds?
This passes, it might be the tinniest but more difficult to get more ammo. But it just means anyone illegally selling a gun will also illegally be selling some ammo to go with.
Ammo isn’t traceable even the least bit.
*edit* sorry the slightest bit more difficult for a prohibited person to get the ammo they need/want. Will of course make it more difficult for legal gun owners. A lot more difficult.

Hopefully ammo comes back around at decent prices prior to, so we can all stock up like wild men and women before frosh screws us all.
Maybe we should paint, "Defund the AG" on the streets of Annapolis.
