I've not been to this show in 3 or 4 years... is it still worth the hour drive from B' more? I'm more into C&R and rim fire these days...

Usually a good selection. Like all gunshows the C&R base is becoming a thing of the past but I have walked out of there with several Enfield's over the last few shows. Still a few vendors with good tables and mixed guns, some racks etc. and a reasonable number of "walkers". I rarely look for ammo as I usually have that sent to the door just so I don't have to carry it. Also some vendors who will usually deal, I walk out with something most of the time or could if I wanted. Usually I don't get what I am looking for been hunting for a Rem 600 lately and this is the kind of show you might find one.

Drive isn't bad and its a really easy in and out unlike Chantilly.

There are also multiple York shows, some are bigger than others. I think this is one of the "big ones" but cant be sure a week after Harrisburg.

For the "new" C&R collectors, your best bet are the on line auctions. Very little is to be found at gun shows today and what is there is way overpriced.

I plan to go Saturday morning and I'll be wearing my Patriot Picket shirt. :party29:

Light turnout, probably due to the weather. Someone was selling a Japanese Type 96 LMG, spoke with Brian from SCSG, then got some subsonic 9mm and a 12-round magazine for the SIG P365.

Didn't seem to be a lot of the bigger dealers there. They had plenty of Poly80% Glock frames. I picked up some Scorpion mags and targets. Prices on the stuff I was checking out seemed to be about the same as Optics Planet on some stuff.

I went to Big Dog Outfitters instead, and picked up a bunch of normal capacity mags, two 12 rounders for my new SIG 365, and some other stuff. Their prices are great, selection is better than most, and the staff is super friendly and helpful. I like that they remember my name, but maybe that means I've been a bad boy? And it's about the same distance as the York show.

Did you notice what the poly 80 frames were going for?

Debating going tomorrow. How decent was the selection of glock mags.

    Anyone see any 10/22 takedowns?
