Not under all rules. It could be forced to the floor without debate. There are other ways to do things, but they are situation dependent.

In other words, we wait to see what happens and then react accordingly. Some things are out of our hands.

We expect a committee vote to happen at some point this week, most likely Wednesday or Thursday. We're still (and always) in "hurry up Sine Die" mode.

This morning I tried to fax 4 of the members of the House Judiciary Committee who were listed in another post as unknown position, and including the link to the NY Post article. I took the number from each Delegate's page yet all four were kicked back with an error messge that it wasn't a fax number. Have they taken to disconnecting them so they don't have to be bothered with what "the people" say? If so then that's an even sorrier state of affairs than I thought.

So I sent them an email, with the likely trigger words stripped out. If they actually get both then all the better.

I've sent my delegate a note about the problem.
