Davsco, you should open your search to include any t3 with a 532 bolt face (ie the wsm rounds too) since you can either machine back the bolt stop or swap it out (call mountain tactical) and have a long action. If you need or want help with that, just ask. I've done it.

I don't have any lefties, unfortunately, but I'd suggest checking out the black friday sales from shydas. They seem to stock lefty tikkas when I have been in there past years.

All Tikka T3 and T3x share the same inlet size on the bottom of the action regardless of caliber. There are no long or short actions, the receiver is the same.

Correct. The problem is bottom metal inlet. As mentioned above, a bolt stop swap or machining job fixes the bolt travel issue but if you opt for any bottom metal that uses aics long action mags, things get complicated quickly. Mountain tactical has the best dbm setup for this but it still has some quirks. They have videos that explain the process and limitations better than any written word can. Website covers the details.

I converted one (modified oem bolt stop) VERY quickly. I used a milling machine but if you are good with an angle grinder you could easily rough it out and finish/square with a file.

The biggest pain is the mags. Even with a clipped trigger housing you will only get 3.4-3.5" loaded rounds in an aics mag. If you are doing a seven rsaum with long bullets, it's perfect. If you want to run a 300wm with heavies, no bueno. My buddy's rig (the one I converted) was a 7rsaum. With 185s it is great.

Euro optic has new ones. If you do get a new one would be interested in the barrel if it’s a 6.5cm

i'm on euro's email notifications, and just visited their site, unfortunately no magnum lefties in stock.

i do have a t3x 300wsm stainless barrel taken off if anyone is interested, but i had to vice it up to get it off so it's somewhat scratched and gouged but should be 100% shootable.
