No, sir. She’s at the USMMA in Kings Pt, NY. She’s the RX (Regimental Executive Officer) and plays on the basketball team.

The Harry Lundeberg School in St Marys is still churning out merchant mariners.
Is that where she's at? (sorry for the slight thread "drift")

Nice pistol. The Walther PP in either caliber (32 or 380) is an excellent carry gun. The paperwork that you have with it is a real plus.
WOOOPS! I forgot. You're in MD. No carrying in MD if you're not politically connected, IIRC.

One more thing. And I know I'm going to catch some flak for this.

A member of the US Merchant Marine (NOT the "Merchant Marines") is a "Merchant Mariner" or a "Merchant Seaman". He is not a "Merchant Marine".

The United States Merchant Marine had between 9000 - 1200 sailors killed during WWII, while the National WWII Museum puts the losses at 11,324 or almost 4% of those serving. That exceeds the 3.7% killed in the USMC during WWII.

Bottom line, the joining the Merchant Marine was more dangerous that joining the Marines!!

    Wonderful weapon and story Vietnam1965!!
