Radian Raptor, run it suppressed, defensive builds, competition, it's rugged, smooth, cuts gas blowback, easy to grab or press check, handles disengage the latch easily, but the latch is secure so it doesn't pop loose inadvertently.

At least so far I’ve only shot my Omega 300 on my Howa 6.5G and my AR-10. The 10 has an AGB turned down pretty far. I didn’t adjust it down any further than it is I suppressed and it shot just fine with the can on. I could tell it was gassed more based on the ejection pattern, but no gas to the face or anything like that. Gassier out of the ejection port for sure, especially noticeable once the mag locked back.

My AR-15s with non-adjustable gas might be on the nastier side. I do have an AGB I need to install on my 16” at some point and probably the others will eventually get AGBs also. Less to adjust between suppressed and unsupressed and more just to take unsupressed gassing. These suckers are basically tuned for “adverse conditions” from the get go and could really use the gas choked down a fair amount more and they’d probably still run pretty reliably. And if there ever was an issue, just open up the gas a little more.

I’ve got an Aero AGB waiting to try out as it looks pretty easily adjustable without needing to take a handguard off or anything (my hand guards are fairly short, usually terminating just in front of the gas block)

I run Precision Reflex's M84 Gas Buster. No suppressor yet, but that's right around the corner. I got the Gas Buster for when I get my can.

Probably my most favorite charging handle. Followed by the Old BCM Gunfighter made by Vltor.

One problem with the larger charging handles is when you sling the rifle across your chest, it pokes you in the solar plexus.

No problem with a plate carrier.

They also get caught on stuff. The Radian Raptor SD is my favorite charging handle, but I tend to use the Geissele Airborne charging handles because they don’t get caught on things.

Years ago I was a BCM fanboy. Since finding Radian, I’ve transitioned all my rifles, including Mpx and ar10s, to Radian. Honestly i think it’s personal preference.

Cheap RV sealant. Works great with USGI handles. Or just wear your RPG's!
