    Bought new sights for a recent build.
    They come with a plastic fiber rod.

    How do I secure it in the front sight? It's coming out when I shoot the gun.

    cut the strip such that it sticks out about 1/8" maybe 3/16" from front and back. use a lighter and slowly get it close to the front, such that it melts it into a bulb. ditto for the rear. that will lock it in place.
