H/T to Hodgepodge for posting his annotated list of the AACo Task Farce “Citizen Members” in post #5 of this thread; it reveals more about who these “citizens” really are.

This Task Farce is pay-off by radical MD Democrats to NYC Tiny Billionaire Bloomberg, masquerading as a non-partisan AA County government initiative.

After the Bloomberg Bucks have been laundered through Anne Arundel County, the AACo Task Farce “report” will be embraced by Democrats in every corner of Maryland to advance Bloomberg’s goal of ending State-wide preemption of what would become an avalanche of local passage of more gun control, including bans.

Their report is due in December.

It will be the political Trojan Horse the radical MD Democrats will roll straight onto the floor of both chambers of the Maryland General Assembly and send straight into their rubber-stamp committees next January.

This is way bigger than Anne Arundel County.

Hodgepodge’s well-researched list is re-arranged below into useful political categories, to illustrate that the “Anne Arundel Gun Violence Prevention Task Force” is in fact a national and MD State Democrat Party subversive political operation, expending government resources belonging the citizens of Anne Arundel County.

Striving for balance? 13 women, 5 men.

    Task Force Chairman:

Bishop Charles Carroll, Clergyman, father of murder victim

Widows of Murdered Capital Gazette Reporters:

    Andrea Chamblee, Vice Chair

    Maria Hiaasen, Vice Chair

Gun Hater/Anti-Gun Owner Activists (Bloomberg Cash):

Dawn Stoltzfus, “communications professional” and member of Moms Demand Action

Mackenzie Boughey, AACo student activist; March for Our Lives organizer

Bob Bates, former member, Brady Campaign to End Gun Violence

Iris Krasnow, author and columnist at The Capital - Board Member, Coalition to Stop Gun Violence

Elizabeth Banach, Marylanders to Prevent Gun Violence

    Hospital Administrators:

Victoria Bayless, President & CEO, Anne Arundel Medical Center

Sue Ward, Vice President for Operations, Baltimore Washington Medical Center

    School Teachers and Parents:

Jennifer Sowers, Director of the Anne Arundel County Parent Coalition

Elizabeth Ruddy, Anne Arundel County Public Schools teacher

    The ‘Dena - DPRM
Not a single non-grabber, not even a single non-authoritarian in the whole bunch. Big thanks again to the groups who shilled for Pittman; AACO Dems wasted no time jacking up taxes and going full blown grabber.

The Chairman and the two Vice-Chairs (both Capital Gazette widows) presiding over the AACo Gun Violence Prevention Task Force are all the surviving family members of murder victims killed by criminals illegally using guns.

Will they focus the Task Farce on criminal violence prevention, or legal gun owner prevention?

The Chairman, Bishop Charles Carroll is a former drug dealer turned pastor whose son was murdered:

    Concur!

The adversary ALWAYS warns us about what they will do. Bullies can't help but brag.

The Adversary was emboldened by the last MGA session, and is wasting no time in setting up for the coming session. Now for the crucial question: What can WE do to counter this?

MDS Minutemen and Patriots needed to answer the call of 2A Liberty!

Members of our community attended the first meeting of the AACo Task Force last month.

They MADE A DIFFERENCE - - yet they carried no signs, and did not speak.

Instead, their calm and dignified physical presence TO WITNESS the proceedings in that meeting room clearly prevented the members of the Task Force from kindling the wildfire of anti-gun hysteria they were primed to spark by Pittman and Bloomberg.

Just BEING THERE was enough to cause the TF members to be on their best “non-partisan” behavior:

In the first meeting the TF Chairman Bishop Carroll stated: “We are not here to take peoples’ guns ...

Interrupted a female TF member: “Well, maybe we are.”

And then Bishop Carrol hurried to finish his sentence: “and this [TF mission] is not about the Second Amendment.”

Really. When a politician (which they all are here) tells the truth it is called a “gaff.” They gaffed.

If a MD anti-gun leftist gaffs in the forest and there is no one there to hear it, does it make any 2A noise?

This is the greatest service you can provide: be a WITNESS, BLOG your impressions live from the meeting in this or other threads, CAPTURE the record, REPORT to us their snide and frustrated comments, be available to give your 2A side to the PRESS.

Anne Arundel County Gun Violence Prevention Task Force meeting is Thursday evening, June 20th, from 6 - 8 PM.

One of the things I'll be looking for is the Task Force emphasis on suicides and gang/drug shootings. These two areas contribute to >80% of "gun violence" .

I'm certain it's easier to put more restrictions on me, requiring micro-stamping, long gun licenses, or other ineffective nonsense.

The Moms will be there tomorrow evening. Patriots of Anne Arundel, with logic, evidence, and the Second Amendment, should also be there.

True story: initially there was only one Red Mommy spectator in the room when the first meeting of the Task Farce began last month.

This obviously alarmed their favored reps seated on the TF, so calls went out.

After about 20 - 30 minutes, T-shirted Red Mommies began to trickle into the room to take seats.

I don’t expect them to be caught off guard like that at this second meeting.

The problem is, according to the Capital Gazette, you don’t have the “gun sense” that God gave a Red Mommy:

Somehow I KNEW this idea wasn't original...

Mayor Pete’s Anti-Violence Commission Fails To Reduce Shootings
    https://freebeacon.com/politics/mayor-petes-anti-violence-commission-fails-to-reduce-shootings
After 18 people were killed in South Bend during the summer of 2012, Mayor Pete Buttigieg (D.) declared the city "unacceptably violent" and announced a data-driven anti-violence commission to combat the problem.

...Composed of a group of community leaders and overseen by Police Chief Ron Teachman, the South Bend Group Violence Intervention sought to use both community and law enforcement methods to reduce gang violence and provide offenders—especially young people—a "moral" alternative to a life of crime. Buttigieg also said the city would double the number of mentors reaching out to at-risk youth through the SBGVI in the next three years.

...South Bend's strategy called for police to profile social circles where crime seemed most likely to occur and to crack down on the most violent offenders. As for other members of those circles, police were instructed to round them up and deliver a clear message: end the violence, or else. These meetings, called "call-ins," would be hosted by mentors and according to Buttigieg, data showed that mentor guidance had helped reduce violence in other struggling cities like Chicago.

...Responding to criticisms doubting the SBGVI's effectiveness, Buttigieg said, "We're not going to be thrown off our purposes by some incident like that," according to WSBT. (emphasis added)

...It was a rocky road in the beginning, but the SBGVI has continued its push to end violence in South Bend. While crime overall is down this year, injuries or death from shootings has held steady: 78 people, the same number as 2012.

In light of this, I have a couple of impressions about the County TF...

    • The TF will assume a life of its own after the MGA probably makes it a statewide entity this spring.
    • The TF will have no effect on "gun violence," but will bolster the political creds of all involved.
Essentially it will make AA as big a sh1thole as Baltimore City, just like South Bends commission made the city as big a sh1thole as Chicago.

And of course, most of our county and state politicians are too stupid to come up with a truly original idea. All they can do is follow orders from their owners. But we knew this.
