Course Goals: This course deals with the basic knowledge, skills and attitude necessary for owning and using a pistol safely.
Through this course, the students will learn about pistol parts and operation, ammunition, gun safety and shooting fundamentals.
Course covers:
Pistol knowledge and safe handling.
Ammunition knowledge and the fundamentals of pistol shooting.
Firing the first shots.
Two handed and one handed shooting positions.
Pistol sports and activities.
This class usually fills up very quickly and has already been posted in our club news letter, if interested please do not wait until the last minute to get signed up. This is one of the best prices for this course that you will find anywhere. Our club does this course at basically the cost of the materials as this is not a source of revenue for our club. We try to have enough instructors present to have a 2:1 student instructor ratio so that all those attending can get as much or as little personal attention as they want, normally we will have at least 7-10 instructors on hand for this as well as some of our other courses.
