    Subject: Morning Incident

    Good Morning Parents,

I wanted to let you know about an incident that occurred during arrival this morning. Before students arrived, one of the maintenance workers alerted the office that there was something suspicious lying on the ground in the back parking lot. I called the police immediately and had them come out and investigate. It turns out that the items were what they referred to as “dummies” that looked like bullets, but were not actual bullets. They collected all the items and took them off of school property. We are supposing that they were in the trash dumpster and fell out when the dumpster was emptied early this morning. At no time were any students in danger. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to call me at school.

Thank you and have a great day! See you tonight at Back to School Night!

Will this find its way into the statistics as an attempted school shooting?

Those earplugs are a famous example of journalistic incompetence from the Ferguson riots.

This terrifying incident in Crofton is something else, unrelated to that old photo.

yup, looks like ear plugs to me, as well.

Those earplugs are a famous example of journalistic incompetence from the Ferguson riots.

This terrifying incident in Crofton is something else, unrelated to that old photo.

The earplugs photo was from 2014... not from the school.

As for the school, I'm waiting for a "school-related firearms scare"...

Exactly. To repeat a third time:

Those earplugs are NOT related to today's terrifying emergency! They are a JOKE, completely unrelated.

We don't know what was found at Crofton today. Whatever it was, it must have been absolutely horrifying.
After all, the Police were called!

I just don't know how the principal can claim, "No students were in danger." Obviously she is covering up, protecting herself. There must be an immediate exhaustive, intensive, intrusive investigation, with an unlimited budget and scope.

Why has the County Executive not declared a state of emergency? Why hasn't the governor suspended civil liberties? Obviously he hates children, and is almost certainly involved in the conspiracy. Typical Republican just wants to kill children .

The only appropriate response is mindless hysteria.

You think this is a cluster....we got a letter about the kid who dropped his folded pocket knife out of his gym shorts. Absolutely no threat, forgot he had on the first days of school.......

Of course, the snowflakes were reassured that he was turned over to the school resource officer and appropriate disciplinary action was applied.
