Hi all! I picked this K98k up this past Monday at auction. After getting it home I noticed it was missing the bayonet lug and cleaning rod and quickly realized I had some sort of Kriegsmodell on my hands. It came with the original sling but unfortunately it snapped before it made it to the auction house. The rifle has no force matching, capture marks or import marks. The bolt is mismatched from the rest of the rifle. I’d be curious to see what you all think about it.
One way or another, I’m very happy with it and it has definitely filled a void in my personal collection that I’ve been meaning to fill for quite some time.
