Picked this 38 rimfire up a year or so from an estate sale. Anyone know any info on it like who made it, age and value? It don’t really fit in my collection so I would like to sell it but need more info to do so.

Hard to make out that proof mark. It would only indicate that it was proofed for that nation, may have been made there or maybe not.
Many of those older guns didn't have many markings on them so does make it tough.
Easier today with the fugly billboards we have stamped onto everything
