Having been in Annapolis for the past several years and having attended several HPRB meetings, what other rights will MM impact?

    Security clearances?
    Foster parents?
    Custody battles?

Also, have there been standards set for allowable levels in one's system? Is there even a test LE can perform?

Employers are still free to disallow users from working for them if they wish.

Ironically, employees of the MM dispensaries, growth, and processing facilities cannot have been convicted for crimes having to do with drugs, haha.

It will most definitely affect security clearances, and the DoD has already informed all employees.

Wait and see. You think someone working at the social security admin will roll over when they are fired because they fail a random drug test or will these employees not enforce their own policy?

And what if the employee is prescribed the drug for anxiety, mild depression or chronic pain? Will the ADA protect them?

Well considering that it is still considered ILLEGAL under federal law and last I read SSA was a federal organization. Medical or not. So yea, the should “roll over” since they don’t have a leg to stand on.

MD is not the first state with MM. It’s been available for decades in others. Gotta look up case law in CA and elsewhere.

DOJ policy is no use,as it should be, with random tests and a 3 year period of no use regardless of the legality in the home state of a candidate for employment.

Perhaps. I just haven't read of any yet. Not at all inclusive by any means.

Is driving after smoking pot a DUI charge in MD?

I always think of this song when these marijuana debates come up. Hypocrisy. Hypocrisy everywhere.

We don't smoke marijuana in Muskogee
We don't take our trips on LSD
We don't burn our draft cards down on Main Street
We like livin' right, and bein' free
We don't make a party out of lovin'
We like holdin' hands and pitchin' woo
We don't let our hair grow long and shaggy
Like the hippies out in San Francisco do
I'm proud to be an Okie from Muskogee,
A place where even squares can have a ball
We still wave Old Glory down at the courthouse,
And white lightnin's still the biggest thrill of all
Leather boots are still in style for manly footwear
Beads and Roman sandals won't be seen
Football's still the roughest thing on campus
And the kids here still respect the college dean

Do Hospitals test for Pot after an accident? From what I have read on the Internet Pot users can test positive for up to 3 months. Is there a test for Stoned -VS- still in the system?

The portion of the DL app that you allow police to test for alcohol or if you refuse you forfeit your license doesn't seem to apply to pot.
