This is not the first time that Migraine Man has brought his wonderful kids to a Patriot Picket event. That's Migraine Jr holding the flag with Lil Miss Migraine looking on.

Rack, thanks for everything you're doing. Looks like you need to give the women a lesson on sign making though.

Thank you! Of course we want our signs big enough to be read from space and they are built like tanks to stand up to repeated use.

Fun Flashback: here is Migraine Jr taking on Chris Van Hollen last summer with a sign he made himself

We ran into Dick Heller--of "Heller v. District of Columbia" fame and he was kind enough to stand with us after the rally for our Patriot Picket group shot.

The Rally had powerful speaches from some wonderful ladies. But the "new" location was terrible. While we could position to get a view of the Capitol in the background . there was little exposure to Capitol visitors or the public at large.

Exposure to the larger world thru social media is a good thing, exposure to the public throngs both raises profile among those not already following the issues , but allows dialogs with individuals to if not convert them on the spot, open to to additional viewpoints to have a fuller understanding of the issues.

Agree. I think because of the heightened concerns (and anger) following the assassination attempts on Republican congressman, I believe they moved the Gals & Guns event across Constitution Avenue because it was a firearms-focused rally.

When we arrived at a the original rally location directly in front of the Capitol, we were waved over the new rally location by Capitol police toting AR-15s. So yes, the most tense atmosphere we have encountered on our many other Patriot Picket visits to the Capitol.

Here's Biggfoot44 with Dick Heller. He was nice enough to pose individually with everyone of our crew yesterday. I will be sending those high-res versions out to everyone by email today.
