It's been a while since I bought a new gun.
First gun purchase from CDNN, went well. Transfer done by Mr. Little of Mid County...many thanks.
I had a blued ranch rifle when I was young and wish I never sold it.
    My wife called it "cute".
    Mini 14 tactical 16".

    Congrats, very nice.

If this thread was on the Firing Line Forum, it would have already been high jacked into Mini vs AR with at least three individuals getting banned. ;)

Does yours have the dove tails for mounting a scope? I have the GB version and would love to top it with some 4x glass.

Very nice find. Those aren't all that common.

Why Ruger didn't release the Mini-30 in a SS tactical model I'll never understand. As it is, I settled for the SS Ranch rifle instead.

    Give it time. :)

Yep, but I will probably wind up with a forward rail for a scout mount.

Sweet gun. I'd like to eventually get a mini-14 with the folding stock. They just look awesome, and I still remember Hanibal using the gun in The A-Team and thinking "Neat!". lol

Nice!! I'm torn. I don't know what to buy next. I want a carbine that's all I know. Maybe I'll just get one from each manufacturer. Has anyone ever looked at the Benelli MR1? That thing looked pretty nice too. I like the CX4 as well. Hell, I just like guns!!!!

If ya don't have a Mini-14, you should get one. They're not super fancy or super accurate, but they are a blast to shoot.

I got my 1st one 20 years ago and its never had a hiccup and eats any ammo Ive fed it . What they lack in accuracy they make up for in reliability .Just dont buy cheap mags

    It's on my radar

...as far as accuracy, I wouldn't know if it was me or the gun anyway. I can keep it on the mass but my groups aren't real good when I shoot anyway.

I need to practice more. It doesn't help having 50 year old eyes either.
