You would be correct.
I like to think of it as being circumcised.

No forward grip needed for a 2 inch barrel. Would be nice to see which direction the bullet would be heading.

There is no minimum barrel length for pistol ARs in terms of the law.
But personally.
Nothing shorter than 10.3” on a 5.56
8” or shorter on 300 blackout.
On pistol caliber builds ( AR9s). 4.5” is the shortest in go. Due to its hard to find handguards that will work with anything shorter.

If you plan to some day suppress this pistol, always keep in mind barrel length when picking your suppressor. Many have a maximum/minimum barrel length requirement.
