The oil can suppressor adapter that CAN be registered and stamped has to have it on the thread adapter. That will screw that one up if they don't put in a clause "if it has a tube" or "if tube is not disposable"

I have been wondering how they deal with large bore cans that can have multiple caliber end caps. ie .45 can with 9mm and .40 and 22 etc end caps. Would the caps be spare parts?

If I recall correctly, you can ask for a variance on all markings... the ATF has to say ok... but you are not tied down 100%. Note OOWs commercial BARs repros. They have them marked Colt! All Colt did was sell the name... ATF allowed that. I would not be real real worried.
