Just the ceremony has been cancelled. Doesn't say anything about the governor not signing any additional Bills.

Right but it looks like he saved the most politically unfavorable bills for last so there's no photo op.

Dan, do you know what the cut-off date (if any) is for signing/veto'ing, before it becomes law with no action by Hogan?

Last date to do anything will be at the May 23rd bill signing.

    What does Snowden say?
'This court agrees that G&S is whatever the board thinks it is'. Much of this thinking is based on apprehended danger in excess of the community at large. A citizen board is representative of the community. The OAH is not , the OAH represents state interests.

    What does scherr say?
    'See Snowden'

    No board, no thinking whatever.

But the precedent still stands from back then, regardless of if the board exists today or not.

So one of the 6-8 bills Hogan was considering vetoing, he is letting pass without approval: bill mandating 50% renewables. Get ready for sky high taxes and electricity bills by 2030.

Is there a list out yet

I keep hearing a radio ad by some 'keep drug prices low' group, and they harp on the point that it will only happen if Hogan signs it.

Not sure why they run these somewhat misleading ads, unless there is some type of passed bill that doesn't become law, unless he does sign it. I doubt there is such a thing.

Yeah there is a drug price bill:

    .
Starting in 2022, the state drug board would review the prices for certain prescription drugs that are paid for by insurance plans for local and state government workers, and set an upper payment limit.

The drug board would be allowed to review drugs that: are new brand-name drugs that cost at least $30,000 per year, existing brand-name drugs with price increases of at least $3,000 per year, existing generic drugs with price increases of at least 200% per year and any drug that creates “affordability challenges.”

I dont know if hell let it become law, but this should tell you all you need to know about the bill:

“We’ve got a national model here,” declared Vinny DeMarco, a public-health advocate and lobbyist who was the bill’s chief proponent in Annapolis.

Vinny DeMarco! The architect of many **** ups in MD!!

Based on this article, the board only applies to "
public-sector insurers serving city, county, and state government employees."

price controls means newer treatments for things like cancer wont be available to state employees. So in guess state employees will die early.
