Traveler, I was referring to the new pistol powders being all flake powders. I'm fully aware hp38 and 231 are ball powders as is many of the accurate powders
For the people that say there's too many powders. What is your problem with it? They're not forcing you to buy it. Just ignore them. If you don't know if you're buying Alliant Green Dot or Hodgdon Green you shouldn't be reloading. If you don't know the difference between the powders how can you expect to use the right powder bushing.
Anybody use the AmericanReloader military rifle powder? It runs about $25 a lb but the cost includes all shipping hazmat fees. Its WC-844/WC-846

Lighten up there fella. Everyone is entitled to his/her/its opinion. This isn't Russia you know. Well not yet anyway.

I used to use WC 844 and 846 when I was shooting .308 a lot. Where are you getting this powder from?
I don't know what their thinking is but I agree that we have too many powders today. When I started reloading, we had Alcan, Dupont, IMR, Winchester and Hogdon (for surplus only). I may have missed one or two. For the most part, the powder manufacturers only had, at the most, a dozen powders for sale. Today, there are so many powders that I can't keep track of them all!
Being a good red blooded American boy, I like to have choices but this is getting ridiculous.

Some wiser reloaders at range buy their stuff from there but haven't personally used their stuff. Looking at the pulled bullets for plinking and the powder.

It seems a number of their bullets selections are mixed weights.
And not sure where they are getting so many pulled plated bullets.
Sort of. The "ball" pistol powders are typically flattened balls.

Right their on their web site. Maybe you should write them a letter and tell them they got it wrong.
