    All the same, I'd be willing to wager real money that I'm right, and these travesties get passed anyway.

    They will pass them. That's why voicing your intention to not comply is important, IMO. They have crossed a line. Citizen nullification.

    I'm not going to go in, put my name on a list, and openly testify that I'm going to break these laws if they are passed. While I understand the whole civil disobedience aspect of it, openly proclaiming it during an officially recorded testimony is probably not a great idea. Just sayin'. (Actually doing it is another matter.)

    I'm counting down to the time when I can leave this state - ostensibly I could probably swing it in 2 years, but realistically it's probably going to be about 5. My shooting hobbies will have to take a bit of a backseat to some other endeavors until I move back to America.
