I'm motivated to set up a trust and get a can for one of my guns.
    I have a 16" HBAR, .300 blackout rifle for deer hunting and a 10.5" 5.56 pistol.
Just trying to decide which to suppress first. It might be awhile before I could get a can for the second.
I'm leaning towards the pistol since I would keep it around the house for HD.
Plus the guys at the range might appreciate that too! ;)
    Comments/thoughts?
    Thanks in advance.
    Best,
    Jim

I'm not an expert and I've been banned from Holiday Inn Expresses, but from the research I've done, the .300 blackout is a good round for suppressing. I'd start with that. You can always run the .30 cal suppressor on the 5.56 rifles. SCMIIW

    1 can, multiple guns.

You pay the stamp for the suppressor itself.

Yep. I use an AAC SDN-6 .30 cal can on both calibers. Just need to get a mount for each one.

    I have an SDN6 with 51T mounts on my Colt 6920, Colt LE901 308, and a DD M4V5 in 300 BLK, and a 10.5 SBR with DD Mk18 and 300 Blk uppers.

    All work flawlessly.

    One can, multiple hosts.

I have a ThunderBeast CB5 on the way.

Mainly for 300 BO, but also 5.56. It is a brake mount suppressor, but TB now has a flash suppressor mount. So all the ARs get the TB flash suppressor and you can quickly pop the can on any of them.

BTW, Form 1 or Form 4 suppressor is for the SUPPRESSOR, nothing about what firearm(s) it might be mounted on.

Nice can. I watched a friend shoot with his and his groups actually got better with the can on.
