I only log in occasionally to see what's going on next door (to Va) so I'm just seeing this thread. All Md. republicans have my sympathies. To the pro 2A democrat, I'm confused. You're pro 2A, but repeatedly vote for people who are intent on taking away your 2A rights. Are you not aware that the definition of insanity is to do the same thing repeatedly but expect a different outcome? BTW, I think the revolver equivalent of an empty chamber would be hammer down on a round with the next chamber empty. Makes self defense more sporting for the criminals.

i've recieved conflicting information from diffrent MD CCW (wear and carry) instructors.

one says it's illegal to carry with a round in the chamber even w/ a wear and carry permit. the other says it's not illegal.

i couldn't find a law clearly stating either one, so i sent an email to the MDSP. i've recieved no reply as of about a week into the email being sent.. .so.. here we are...

Carrying on an empty chamber would make absolutely no sense. Then again in MD, most people can't carry so what difference does it make if you carry one in the chamber or not. I am sure the punishment for carrying is the same.

Probably should have the Omega lock in the chamber...isn't that why we are required to have the darn thing?
