    These came with a couple of second gen colt BP revolvers i found at a SxS vintage shotgun show of all places. Thought some of you collectors might enjoy.

    They were colt employee discounts. Guess colt was dumping inventory. I bought the 1861 and 1851 navies. I think i paid 450 per, no boxes, but like new.

    I had a pretty sizable collection of the second generation Colts. I bought all of them new (wholesale when I worked in the business), with one exception which is still new in the box. I sold some of them off back in the 90's to buy high end stereo equipment. Now I wish I had not sold any of them. Here's a few of the ones I have left.

    Beautiful. Thanks for sharing Have some and some 1st gens. These BP colts are by far my favorite guns. I have powder, caps and balls. One day i may get the gumption to shoot one.

    Go for it!

    The Second Generation Colts shoot very well, although in aiming them remember Samuel designed them to aim at the belt-buckle and hit the heart.

    Track of the Wolf's replacement nipples make the caps fit a bit better.
