Picked this one up online, as a bonus upon receiving the pistol I noticed the British proof marks so I ordered a letter from Savage, this one indeed had been shipped to John G Rollins and Son in London England in 1914.
Sort of unique to encounter a Savage pistol with British proof marks.

Since British officers were supposed to purchase their own side arms you saw many US manufacturers exporting to their agents there during the Great War. I've got a Colt 1903 Pocket Hammer with British marks. Yet another highly collectible Savage!
