I normally order stuff off the Internet but if I need something in a pinch are there any stores other than Bass Pro that sell reloading stuff in or near Pasadena?

I buy 99% of my Powder & Primers at the York PA Gun Shows...

I always order my bullets on line...

15+ Years ago Continental Shooting Range used to sell stuff, but I haven't seen any there for may years...

I haven't had any luck buying anything locally for many years...

    Good Luck...

Clydes in Halthorpe has some stuff. I know they have black powder, pyrodex and primers. I don't know if he carries smokeless.

He used to carry a pretty full range.

Last time I was there, I thought I saw some primers and bullets. But it was around the low point of availability, so even if they carried, they might now have had any.

Last time I was there, a few years ago, they had some stock. IIRC I bought a couple of pounds of powder.

Basspro has lots of powder, different dies and bullets & primers.
YOu are going to pay more than what you would pay at a gun show which is often less than MD prices.
If you go anywhere, call ahead to see if they have what you want. Last time I was a Clydes, they have almost nothing but that was during a country wide reloading scare.

Several years ago, Haffers was about 5 or 6 bucks cheaper than Bass Pro. When I was in working the area, this was a great deal. Last month I was there and the prices are maybe a buck or so cheaper in SOME CASES. Now I don't think it is worth the ride unless you live in Frederick or Washington counties.

I hit the Gettysburg show last weekend and there were plenty of reloading supplies. Clydes should be able to help. What are you looking for?

Nothing at the moment. I am pretty well stocked. I was just trying to figure out my surroundings again and make sure I had a backup in case I needed something I ran out of in a pinch. I am shooting mostly 308 these days and have plenty of brass, bullets, primers and powder.

Lot'sa guys that used to sell reloading stuff stopped as Maryland (and also, to some extent, US gov't) have created so many regulations in respect to it's sale and storage that it became a pain. For one example that affects the reloader themselves, back in, IIRC, the early 90's the MD State Fire Marshall suddenly decided that we reloaders can only store no more than 5 lbs of powder. That might work for loading 1 or 2 calibers....maybe.

'Course, one can solve that somewhat by keeping their powder in loaded cartridges. :D

Usta be every real gun store carried at least some reloading components .

But even before the internet , they were coming into heavy pressure from .... Mail Order . I'm dating myself , but just with a cpl places with thick catalogues , local stores couldn't compare with the selection, within their shelf space , and inventory $$ parameters.

So bottom line , other than old fart sole proprietor with a sense of nostalgia, only a few LGS will have components, but those that do will go big , to be a regional destination.
