Check with Brian at South Carroll Sporting Goods. He built my upper, no issues and runs fine!

Not had any AR work there but I can say that I like their shop and have had some pleasant purchases there. Nice small shop.

PM Clandestine. I wouldn't trust anyone other than him for AR work. Not sure if he is taking jobs now but it is worth the try.

Agreed. SOTAR is the way to go, but Elkton is a long way from N. Carroll Co.

If the OP's friend doesn't get satisfaction, he needs to talk to Chad ASAP.

Elkton is a long way from Takoma/Silver Spring, but I've undertaken the drive a couple times. It's worth it, believe me. Chad is the cream, the whipped cream topping of the AR world.

Sorry; I got excited thinking about dessert.

I too have made that sojourn. If Chad can't fix it, throw it away. It's toast!

Elton is to far of a drive from SOMD...... that is what the post office is for.
I was extremely happy with the work he did on my upper. I highly recommended him.

I would have loved to go up in person to see him work and meet the man but, it wouldn’t work out with our schedules.
