Hey guys need a little help here. I purchased this 8.5 inch semi auto barrel for my semi auto vector and the barrel band that is circled in the middle is preventing the barrel from fully inserting into the trunnion of my Uzi. What would you recommend to sand/shave down the barrel band in the middle so that my barrel fits? I’m not worried about cosmetics the only time I’ll look at it is when the gun is cleaned.

    Thanks!

lathe if if you have one. If you don't you could use a grinding wheel if you have a really good touch.

Other option is old school and to chuck it up in a drill press and use emory cloth.

    So:

    1. Lathe
    2. Emory cloth with it slowly rotating
    3. Grinding wheel

Most likely can cold blue it or hit it with rustoleum after it's turned down a bit.
