I recently made an order to Tandemkross for some parts for a Ruger Mk III 22/45. The parts were a block for the loaded chamber indicator and a +1 magazine BUMPER. Here is what I received from them. :mad54:

    Hello Mr. ,

Thank you for your recent order from TANDEMKROSS> I regret to inform you that we are unable to send you the 22/45 Plus1 Bumpers that you ordered as you live in the state of Maryland.

I can send you the LCI insert that you ordered: I was thinking that I can edit your order to include only the LCI and then refund you the $7.99 for the Plus1 bumpers. Your shipping fee would remain the same.

Please let me know; I'm going to place your order on hold until I hear from you.

    Thanks!

I wrote back to them and explained the law and they told me I can't expect them to change their policy because of Maryland's law change that is coming. REGARDLESS of the law, I was buying a BUMPER, not a magazine.

I plan to post this far and wide as another company that doesn't have the guts to do the right thing.

Another business that is hurting themselves!
This place may not give you everything you need as I don't see the bump, but the speed strip kit is nice and they do custom work as well. I didn't see the LCI on there, but I imagine that is a highly requested item. My MkIII won't be in my hands until next week, so I will then be able to see what you are talking about. Overboost44, I just installed TK's hammer bushings and LCI fillers on two 22/45s. Very nice stuff.

OP, direct your anger at liberty haters in Annapolis, not at TK. Imagine yourself in TK's shoes, operating a business that ships nationally, forced to comply with thousands of anti-gun "land mine" laws in non-free states. You would follow in TK's footsteps as CYA. On a related note, I just received six +1 bumpers from them without a peep.

I never played CYA for anything, as I was taught and trained to stand up and do the right thing for the right reasons. I don't have it in my genes to cop out and I don't tolerate *****'s.

Tandemkross is just another cowardly company that is taking the easy way out. If they were selling me a magazine, they may have had a valid concern until they were educated on how the law reads. As it is, I tried to buy a piece of plastic, a magazine BUMPER. There is no excuse for them not selling me one.

And yes, I do direct my anger towards ANP and will be there on Monday as I was at all the winter gatherings.

I've purchased from TandemKross and they've shipped to me in MD. (those bumpers specifically)

They're a great company and easy to deal with. I would recommend them to anyone looking for quality 22/45 upgrades.

Well they won't anymore. So, while they may have been a good company in the past, they are just facilitators for the anti's now. Their policy is ridiculous considering we are taking about a magazine bumper and not a magazine.

+1. I can't blame any company who doesn't want to to business here. Pass a whole bunch of inane rules that are hard to navigate. It is easier to forget about it than try to understand.

Thanks, maybe I will try and see if they just don't like the OP. No offense intended OP.

    Copes isn't playing nice either.....

I ordered some standard capacity mags from Cope's and they wouldn't ship them out of state. Said my billing address was MD and that wouldn't fly.

    So another one to avoid.

If you are in the tax business, it's your job to know tax law. If you're in the gun business, it's your job to know gun law. Clowns that won't invest the time to determine what the law is and then in addition to that failing, acts like goofs even BEFORE any law is in effect have no business in the business.

They'll never get a dime of my money. YMMV
