Jhud10 has succeeded in making a pen that matches my pistol!!!! He used Zebrawood like my grips and I gave him some dummy 45 rounds to play with. How cool is this piece?

I do have a pistol that my late father made grips for and it looks a lot like yours. It's a 22 caliber that looks like a commander size 1911, sort of. I think trying to work through losing him is what got me to make these grips for my knife. Here's the pistol, it needs to be either reblued or I'm leaning towards parkerized dura-coat or the real thing. Fun gun either way!

My bad. Got my models crossed. I meant Officer's model pen because it's a little smaller than a full size. :-)
