I currently see lots of models . Which ones are the Evil Ones that could accidentally transmit on GMRS ?
Specifically , the UV- 5R Mk 4 would seem to have been superseded by Mk 5 circa 2018 , does that mean the Mk 4 is an Evil Version ? |

I'm not sure there is a way to know. Seems what you get from Amazon is a crapshoot for example. The F8-HP is supposed to be legit, but is the copy you get going to be legit or a knockoff?
Regardless, no one says you have to enter GMRS frequencies.

The " legit" ones can be spotted , I'm trying to nail down the illegitimate ones .
